Is it written that one who prayed over a funeral, and was fasting, and visited a sick person, and gave charity, will be among the people of Paradise, whether he dies on the same day or lives thereafter? And are the two immunities (from Hellfire and hypocrisy) written for one who catches the opening Takbeer with the Imam for forty days, even if he lives thereafter?

Whoever performs righteous deeds is expected to enter Paradise by virtue of them, unless there is an impediment such as major disbelief (kufr akbar) or hypocritical belief (nifaq i'tiqadi). Prophetic hadiths have indicated this, among them the hadith of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whoever spends two pairs of something in the way of Allah will be called from the gates of Paradise, and that for every deed there is a special gate, and one might be called from all of them. Also, the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) states that whoever prays to Allah for forty days in congregation, catching the first takbir, will have two immunities written for him: immunity from the Fire and immunity from hypocrisy.
