Is the Hadith, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah shall enter Paradise," authentic? Does it mean that those who commit major sins will enter Paradise after their torment? How is it interpreted in light of the Hadith, "He whose neighbor is not safe from his mischief will not enter Paradise"? And why will Iblis enter Hellfire despite not having associated anything with Allah?

The destiny of a perpetrator of a major sin from among the people of Tawhid (monotheism) is Paradise in the end, even if they enter Hellfire and suffer torment or are covered by intercession or forgiveness, and then exit it. This is indicated by the Hadith of Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him: "Gabriel came to me and gave me the good tidings that whoever dies from my Ummah (nation) associating nothing with Allah, will enter Paradise. I said: 'Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals?' He said: 'Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals.'" And also by the Hadith of Intercession, which mentions the expulsion from Hellfire of whoever had in their heart the slightest speck of faith. As for the texts that seem to imply they will not enter Paradise, their interpretation is that they are not initially worthy of entering it. As for Iblis, he is among the disbelievers by the clear text of the Quran.
