Is it obligatory to refrain from prayer for five days during the menstrual period, considering that bleeding only occurs on the first two or three days, then becomes simple spotting, and sometimes ceases completely in the middle before resuming as spotting?

If a woman sees menstrual blood, she must abandon prayer and all other things that a menstruating woman must abandon. When the blood stops and she sees a sign of purity (dryness or a white discharge), she must perform ghusl (definition) and pray, and all rulings applicable to pure women are established for her. If the blood returns again, she becomes menstruating again, and ghusl becomes obligatory for her after its cessation, as long as the blood returns at a time suitable for menstruation. The period of purity interspersed within the menstrual cycle is a valid state of purity.
