Is it permissible to pray by gesturing while sitting on a chair sometimes, when there is fear that the prayer time will expire and one is outside the home, knowing that this is not a frequent occurrence?

Prayer is the pillar of faith, and it must be performed at its appointed time and in its correct manner. Its conditions are facing the Qiblah, the entry of the prayer time, the purity of the clothes, body, and place, and covering the 'awrah (private parts). As for its pillars, they are: intention, the opening Takbeer (Allahu Akbar), standing for those who are able, reciting Al-Fatiha, bowing and rising from it and straightening up, prostrating and rising from it with tranquility, sitting for the final Tashahhud, and the Tasleem (saying "As-salamu alaykum"). Whoever fails to fulfill a condition or a pillar while being able to do so, their prayer is invalid. The questioner must repeat the prayers she performed without standing and prostrating while she was not incapacitated. She can pray in her home or any pure place.
