What is the ruling on wearing trousers if the shirt covers them down to the knees, or if they are worn under a jilbab?

If the trousers are tight and describe the size of a woman's body parts, then it is not permissible to wear them in front of non-mahram men. However, there is no harm in wearing them inside her home. If the trousers are loose and wide, and the shirt above them is also loose, then there is no objection to a woman going out in them, as long as it is not a garment of fame or adornment that attracts men's attention. It is permissible to wear trousers under a jilbab under certain conditions.
