What is the ruling on freezing a cancerous man's sperm with the intention of using it for future procreation after marriage?

Cancer can be cured through supplication (du'a) and ruqya (exorcism/healing through Quranic recitation), and one must also utilize medicinal treatments while having certainty in Allah. Contemporary jurists have differed regarding the ruling on freezing sperm and eggs out of necessity. Some have permitted it under three conditions: the existence of a legitimate need, its use being exclusively between the spouses and during the marriage, and ensuring safety from the mixing of genetic material. Others have prohibited it, to safeguard lineages from mixing and doubt, and to prevent corruption. The preponderant opinion is permissibility, provided the conditions of safety and security from the mixing of genetic material are met, which refutes the concerns of those who forbid it.
