The suckling that prohibits marriage is that which consists of five or more feedings. The testimony of one woman is acceptable in this regard. The Shafi'i school's view on this is that suckling is established by the testimony of two men, or one man and two women, or four women. It is not permissible for a layperson to choose from the schools of thought what aligns with his whims, because that leads to seeking out dispensations and following desires. Therefore, if suckling is established between you, marriage is not permissible.
