Does it affect the prayer if the worshiper says: "Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty" three times after his mind wandered and he heard a sound that affected him, knowing that he was going to say it anyway?

Scholars have differed regarding the invalidation of prayer by such words. The majority of scholars hold that the prayer remains valid and is not invalidated, though some of them suggest repeating it if the intention was to address a human being. If these remembrances (adhkar) replace obligatory remembrances, such as tasbeeh in bowing (ruku'), then they are not sufficient unless the obligatory remembrance was intended. If a worshiper recites a prescribed remembrance (dhikr mashroo') in prayer in the wrong place due inadvertently, such as reciting Qur'an in bowing, their prayer is not invalidated, and it is sunnah for them to perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw), but it is not obligatory. However, if they utter a remembrance for which there is no legal basis in prayer, the prostration of forgetfulness is not prescribed for them.
