Is it true that if someone who suffers from obsessive doubts (muwaswis) experiences a slight deviation from their prayer and doubts during it, this necessitates them correcting their prayer, and they do not benefit from the dispensations granted to those with obsessive doubts?

The person afflicted by waswas (obsessive whispering/doubts) is advised to turn to Allah and engage in continuous supplication so that He may remove this ailment, because Satan strives to distance him from prayer. As for repeating the prayer due to forgetfulness or doubt: doubt concerning the omission of a pillar necessitates performing it, whereas doubt concerning the omission of an obligatory act does not warrant prostration of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw). This applies if the doubt occurs during the prayer. However, if the doubt occurs after the prayer, it has no effect, and prostration of forgetfulness is not required. These rulings apply to someone who is not frequently afflicted by waswas. As for the person who is frequently afflicted by waswas, his waswas and doubts are of no consequence.
