Is it permissible for the bride's dowry to be the Holy Qur’an, on the condition that the agreement is to act upon what is in it, without memorizing it?

It is permissible for the Qur'an to be given as a dowry to a woman because it is something that can be owned, sold, and utilized. However, making the dowry a pledge by the husband to act according to the Book of Allah is not permissible because it is his religious duty, and because it is not something that can be owned. A dowry must be something that can be owned. Thus, anything that is valid as an object of sale, whether as compensation or as something compensated, is valid as a dowry.
