The answer

It is not possible for anyone to see Allah the Exalted in this world, whether a believer or a disbeliever. This is indicated by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Learn that none of you shall see his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, until he dies." Furthermore, when Musa (Moses), peace be upon him, asked to see Allah, his request was not granted. Therefore, whoever claims to have seen Allah in this world has asserted that he is superior to Musa, peace be upon him, and his claim is false by the consensus of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (the People of the Sunnah and the Community). The only disagreement was regarding the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but the majority of the imams are of the opinion that he did not see Him with his own eyes in this world.
