What is the ruling on a woman who swore not to divulge the secrets of her female relatives, then divulged them many times in varying years, and she does not remember the number of times, knowing that the secrets do not cause harm, and she is repentant; does she have to fast?

You are required to offer expiation for every oath you have broken, according to the majority of scholars, as long as these were multiple oaths concerning various matters. The fact that those to whom you swore the oaths were not harmed does not alter this. The expiation for an oath is: feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If you are unable to do any of these, then you should fast for three days. It is not permissible for you to begin with fasting as long as you are able to perform one of the first three types of expiation. If you are unaware of the number of oaths, then take the minimum, because the basic principle is the acquittal of responsibility, and anything beyond that is doubtful.
