هل عدم قول الحقيقة كاملة يعتبر كذبًا؟

Lying is to inform about something contrary to reality. As for informing about part of the reality and remaining silent about the other part, it is not lying; rather, it is dissimulation (Tawriya). So, whoever informs about a part of the truth and remains silent about the rest, and does not inform about something contrary to reality, is not considered a liar. However, if this non-disclosure leads to the loss of a right, then it becomes forbidden (haram).
