The examination can be administered with the intention of establishing justice among students and distinguishing the diligent, and with the intention of fulfilling the job duty of earning a salary. It is recommended that the examination be of moderate difficulty, combining direct questions with those that require deeper thought, similar to Sharia (definition) rulings that vary between what is easy and what requires ijtihad (definition).
