Is it permissible to put a cover, printed with a picture of a rose and the phrase "Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi, Subhan Allah Al-Azim" (Glorified is Allah and praised is He, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great), on a copy of Tafsir al-Jalalayn that has a torn cover?

If the cover of Tafsir al-Jalalayn tears, there is no objection to covering it with clean paper or clean leather. As for covering the Mushaf (Qur'an) with paper on which a rose is drawn and "Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi Subhan Allah al-Azim" (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him, Glory be to Allah the Almighty) is written, there is no legal objection to it. However, one should be careful not to disrespect these words which contain the remembrance of Allah Almighty.
