What is the meaning of the Hadith narrated by Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): "Do not kindle a fire at night." Then, after that, he said: "Kindle it and make use of it, for no people after you will attain your saa‘ nor your mudd"?

The Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibition of lighting fires at night on the Day of Hudaybiyah was a specific measure tailored to the situation of the Companions at that time, either due to their minimal need for cooking at night or out of fear that the enemy would see their fires. Afterward, the Prophet permitted them to do so, explaining that a blessing would descend upon them, which is a great virtue for the people of Hudaybiyah.
