What is the ruling on getting to know Arab Christian families, knowing that the relationship is conservative and includes advice to draw closer to God and do good deeds?

There is no harm in acquaintance between a Muslim and a non-belligerent disbeliever, as long as the acquaintance does not involve loyalty and affection, for that is not permissible with a disbeliever. However, mere acquaintance, kindness, and benevolence towards them are permissible. A Muslim should utilize such a relationship to invite the disbeliever to Islam and endear it to them through beautiful character, good treatment, and clarification of the virtues of Islam. Allah Almighty said: "Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly."
