How should I deal with a Christian friend with whom I have a strong relationship, especially after her refusal to discuss religious matters, and should I continue this friendship or reduce communication with her?

The Sharia encourages benevolence towards all people, including non-belligerent disbelievers, as Allah Almighty says: "Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." However, a Muslim should be keen on befriending the righteous, as Allah Almighty says: "Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous," and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not accompany anyone but a believer, and let no one eat your food except a pious person," and he also said: "A man is on the religion of his intimate friend, so let each of you look at whom he befriends." A person is influenced by their companion, so one must choose a companion of faith and good character. We advise limiting interaction with this woman and reducing time spent with her, while being keen on inviting her to Islam.
