Is it permissible to donate embroidered and attractive shoes that were worn before [adopting] the hijab, and is it obligatory to inquire whether the recipient will wear them in a way that displeases Allah, in order to avoid assisting in sin?
There is no harm in giving shoes as charity, provided it is not known or highly probable that the recipient will use them for unlawful purposes, based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." It is better to give them as charity to righteous women.
