What is the ruling on adhkar and tasarruf using the Idrisian Divine Names, such as reciting "O Vanquisher of the intense might, You are He whose vengeance is unbearable," and what is the ruling on reciting salawat upon the Prophet using the صيغة (form) of the Salatul-Nariyah or the Salatul-Munjiyah?

May Allah suffice us with His Book and the Sunnah (definition) of His Prophet. What is known as the Idrisiyyah Names and the Nariyah Prayer have not been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. They contain Shariah prohibitions and invalid meanings, such as naming Allah with names He has not named Himself with in the Idrisiyyah Names, and meanings contrary to the Shariah in the Nariyah Prayer. The claim that this supplication is directly from Allah is a false assertion, similar to the slanders of the People of the Book against Allah. The foundation of religion is adherence, and the principle in acts of worship is divine injunction.
