Is it valid for a wife to be divorced over the phone by the husband's father without the wife hearing the divorce pronouncement from her husband?

Divorcing a wife over the phone is valid, and it is permissible for the husband to delegate another person to pronounce the divorce. So, if the husband delegates his father to divorce his wife, and the father carries it out either directly or over the phone, the divorce is valid. In case of dispute, the matter should be referred to the Sharia courts.
