If the father wants the car for permissible needs, there is no harm in giving it to him, and his sin is upon him if he commits something unlawful with it without your knowledge. However, if his intention is to commit unlawful acts with it, then it is not permissible to assist him therein. It is obligatory to advise him with wisdom and good admonition, and preventing a father from the unlawful is considered an act of righteousness towards him.
