How can I draw closer to God and strengthen my faith, and what is the ruling on the thoughts that come to me through contemplating God's creation; must I convey them to scholars?

You must distance yourself from indulging in the whispers of the self and Satan and accompany people of knowledge. For the religion has been perfected, and the Law has clarified what increases faith, understanding of God, and His worship. Allah Almighty said: {Is it not enough for them that We have sent down to you the Book, which is recited to them? Indeed in that is a mercy and a reminder for a people who believe.} Therefore, one must engage with the Quran, for in its recitation and memorization there is a great reward.
