Is one who abandons congregational prayer and prays at home sinful because he is not satisfied with the prayer of the imam, who rushes through the recitation, does not articulate the letters properly, and is more concerned with reciting the surah after Al-Fatiha than with Al-Fatiha itself, knowing that the imam recites Al-Fatiha in two or three breaths, contrary to what was reported from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he would pause at the end of each verse?

Congregational prayer is obligatory for adult men. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, intended to burn the houses of those who failed to attend it. Scholars have differed on whether it is obligatory to pray in the mosque or if it is permissible anywhere else; the most authoritative opinion is that it is permissible anywhere. One should not abandon prayer with the Imam merely because he omits some Sunnah acts. However, if the Imam prays so fast that it prevents following him, or if he makes a grammatical error in Al-Fatihah that changes the meaning, then one should not pray behind him, and it becomes obligatory to seek another mosque. If you lead people in prayer, make it light, in compliance with the Prophet's recommendation, peace and blessings be upon him.
