Will the questioner be rewarded if others benefit from his question and its answer published on the website?

A Muslim should always have a righteous intention in every action, especially those whose benefit extends to others, seeking thereby the countenance of Allah and hoping for reward. Good deeds are of two types:

1. Intransitive (lāzimah): The doer is rewarded for them by intending to fulfill an obligation.

2. Transitive (muta'addiyah): The doer is rewarded for the benefit others derive from them, even if he did not have an intention when performing the act. Examples include someone planting a tree from which an animal benefits, or reconciling disputes, due to the far-reaching good therein. Removing harm from the road has a transitive benefit, so a person is rewarded for it, even if he did not have an intention when removing it.
