Is it unlawful for a girl to go out for recreation and shopping with her friends in mixed places, knowing that they sit in distant places and do not go out daily?

It is permissible for a girl to go out for a stroll or shopping with her friends if they are modestly covered with the legal hijab and adhere to the manners of the road, such as lowering their gaze and not crowding men. However, one should not excessively go out; following the example of the Mothers of the Believers, who were commanded to remain in their homes, as Allah Almighty says: "And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance."
