What is the ruling on one who broke her fast in Ramadan, thinking that her menstruation had not ended, but then it became clear to her that she had indeed purified, knowing that she does not know whether she purified before or after Fajr? Does she have to make up that day or fast for two consecutive months?

If a woman doubts whether her purity from menstruation occurred before dawn or after it, she must refrain from eating and drinking for the rest of that day, and she must make up that day after Ramadan (definition). She is not required to offer expiation, nor is she required to make up any prayers except for those prayers for which she is certain she became pure before their time expired.
