Is one allowed not to commit to prayer after returning from Umrah?

It is not permissible to abandon the obligatory prayers before or after Umrah. Prayer is obligatory upon every sane, adult Muslim, and it is the greatest pillar of Islam after the Two Testimonies of Faith (Shahadatayn). Whoever denies its obligation is an apostate disbeliever. As for one who abandons it due to laziness, the majority of imams hold that he should be asked to repent; if he does not repent, he should be executed. His execution would be a Hadd (prescribed punishment) according to the Malikis and Shafi'is, and an act of disbelief (kufr) according to the Hanbalis, which is the more evident view, based on the proofs indicating the disbelief of one who abandons prayer, such as the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Between a person and disbelief is the abandonment of prayer." And his saying: "The covenant between us and them is prayer; whoever abandons it has disbelieved." Abandoning a single prayer until its time expires without a valid excuse invalidates good deeds, so what about one who abandons many prayers?
