How can the sin of insulting and taunting a colleague be redressed without revealing the identity of the insulter?

Harming and insulting a Muslim is forbidden, and taunting someone for their physical appearance is an offense against Allah the Almighty, for He is the Creator, the Fashioner, and disparaging the creation amounts to disparaging the Creator.

It is incumbent upon the one who has harmed another to repent to Allah and suffice with supplicating for them and seeking forgiveness for them. It is permissible for her to ask for their forgiveness without mentioning what she did, provided there is no seclusion (khalwa) or soft speech.

It must be emphasized that it is forbidden to establish relationships of love or friendship between women and non-mahram men. Islam does not recognize such relationships except through a legitimate marriage.
