A person does not become an unbeliever due to his ignorance of the correct meanings of the Quranic verses or his misunderstanding of them. Examples include the حديث (narration) of Adi ibn Hatim concerning "the white thread from the black thread," and the حديث (narration) of Ibn Mas'ud concerning "those who believed and did not mix their belief with injustice."
