Is it permissible for a person who manages an association for saving money to take a small amount from the subscribers for his private benefit?

He is not permitted to take the money except with the owners' permission, either as a donation or as wages for safeguarding and collecting their funds. Otherwise, it is unlawful for him to do so, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The wealth of a Muslim person is not lawful [to take] except with his willing consent."
