- Is it true that a woman only leaves her home twice in her life: once to her husband's house and once to her grave?

What some preachers mention, that a woman does not leave her house except twice (to her husband's house and then to her grave), is incorrect. The wives and daughters of the Prophet, and the female Companions, used to go out to the mosque, for jihad, to the market, and to attend to their needs. However, it is preferable for a woman to remain in her home, based on the Almighty's saying: "And stay in your houses," and she should not go out except for a necessity, while adhering to the manners of hijab and going out.
