Is a person with bipolar disorder considered insane, and will they enter Paradise without reckoning?

Bipolar disorder is not insanity; rather, it is a state of depression and mania. The insane person is not held accountable, so he is not punished. If a person is born insane and one of his parents is Muslim, he will enter Paradise. Otherwise, he will be tested on the Day of Judgment. As for someone who becomes insane after reaching puberty, he will be held accountable for what he did before his insanity.
