Is sustenance to be found in another land, requiring one to seek it out, or does it come wherever a person is, making it unnecessary to search for it?

The sustenance of people is in the heavens and the earth, and no one knows the location of a servant's sustenance except Allah. Sustenance is apportioned and divided into two types: sustenance that seeks the servant wherever he may be (seeking sustenance), and sustenance that the servant seeks through its legitimate means (sought sustenance). Both are decreed and written. Seeking sustenance does not contradict reliance upon Allah, for true reliance is the heart's dependence on Allah while taking the necessary means.
