The deformity of a fetus in its mother's womb due to radiation or other causes does not permit abortion, even if forty days have not passed since conception, because the ultimate outcome of the fluid after it settles in the womb is life. There is no blood money (diyah) for aborting it unless human creation becomes apparent in it, which is after forty days have passed.
