Why did the sorcerers give precedence to the Prophet of God Aaron over the Prophet of God Moses (peace be upon them both), even though the Prophet sent to them was our master Moses (peace be upon him)?

It appears there is no reason to prioritize Aaron over Moses (peace be upon them both) in the verse, except to match the rhythm of the verses in Surah Taha, most of which end with a long 'a' sound ( ألف مقصورة). This is supported by the fact that the sorcerers prioritized Moses over Aaron when they said: "We believe in the Lord of the worlds, the Lord of Moses and Aaron."
