What is my duty concerning purchase receipts bearing the name "Abd al-Rahman" or "Abdullah" that are thrown in the trash, and concerning people who bear compound names of the Beautiful Names of Allah?

It is not permissible to use papers containing the name of Allah Almighty in a manner that constitutes disrespect, and it is forbidden to trample upon them due to the humiliation involved. Speaking with those who treat these papers disrespectfully and throw them in impure places falls under the category of enjoining good and forbidding evil, which is obligatory upon whoever is able. However, contacting companies to warn them is not obligatory.
