Does the guardianship of a father over his daughter lapse if he does not pray, believes in the distortion of the Qur'an, thinks that Muslims exaggerate about the Messenger (peace be upon him), denies the Isra and Mi'raj, drinks alcohol, and tried to expel his daughter because of her hijab? And if his guardianship lapses, then who becomes the guardian?

If the father believes that the Quran has been distorted and that the Isra and Mi'raj are superstitions, and he abandons prayer, then he is not fit to be the guardian of his daughter. This is because these actions constitute disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam. His guardianship falls away and transfers to the one most deserving after him, such as the grandfather, while it is obligatory to advise him and remind him of Allah Almighty.
