ما هو بيع التولية؟

Tawliyah is one of the trust sales (buyu’ al-amanah), which involves selling an item for the same price at which it was purchased. If the seller says: "I hand it over to you (wallaytuka iyyaha)" or "I sell it to you by way of tawliyah," then it is not permissible for him to sell it for more than he bought it for, because tawliyah requires selling it for the same purchase price, without any increase or decrease.
