ما هي القصة الراجحة لمقتل الإمام النسائي؟

Imam Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i was killed because he refused to narrate virtues of Mu'awiyah after the people of Damascus asked him to do so. It is said that he was stabbed in his testicles and expelled from the mosque. He then traveled to Mecca and died there. It is also said that he went to Ramla, and when asked about the virtues of Mu'awiyah, he refrained from speaking about them. So, they beat him in the جامع (mosque), and he died in Mecca as a martyr. Others mentioned that he died in Ramla or Palestine and was buried in Jerusalem.
