Is the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) obligatory for the congregant (ma'mum) if he doubts the glorification (tasbih) of the bowing (ruku'), even if the imam did not prostrate?

Prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) is not legislated for doubting whether one omitted a glorification (tasbih), because, according to the more preponderant opinion, doubting the omission of an obligation does not necessitate prostration of forgetfulness. Furthermore, it is not legislated for a congregant (ma'mum) to perform prostration of forgetfulness unless their Imam forgets. The Imam bears the forgetfulness of the congregant, and prostration of forgetfulness is waived for the congregant in order to maintain followship with the Imam.
