Is it true what is said that the name Muhammad (peace be upon him) is written on Mount Uhud?

Regarding the virtue of Mount Uhud, a Hadith (definition) from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said about it: "This is a mountain that loves us, and we love it." As for what has been mentioned about the mountain's appearance, when viewed from space, resembling the name of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), this has not been reported in the Prophetic Sunnah (definition). Nor have we found it to be true in actual satellite images of the mountain, which show only a continuous and unordered chain of mountains. The widespread image suggesting this is an abridged version of reality, from which certain mountainous terrains have been removed to make it appear this way. It is not permissible to rely on such an image, and one should be cautious of stories that are not supported by شرعي (Shari'i) or rational evidence.
