What should I do about having stolen from my parents and some of my relatives, and how can I atone for my sin, knowing that my mother has forgiven me, but I cannot bring myself to confront the other relatives, and that I have sought forgiveness from Allah and perform acts of worship?

Repentance from major sins is obligatory, subject to its conditions: sincerity to Allah, regret, abstaining from the sin, resolving not to return to it, and restoring injustices. It is necessary to return stolen money, or its equivalent, or its value. If direct restitution is not possible, it can be returned indirectly. It is recommended to frequently seek forgiveness and perform good deeds.
