What is the ruling on filing down the front teeth if one of them is longer than the other and causes a conspicuous appearance, and is this action considered forbidden or permissible?

Al-Tabari and Ibn Hajar mentioned that the hadith, "Allah has cursed the tattooists and those who have themselves tattooed, and the namisaat (women who pluck their eyebrows), and the mutafallijaat (women who make spaces between their teeth) for beauty, those who alter Allah's creation," indicates that it is not permissible to alter Allah's creation for the sake of beauty, unless there is a medical necessity or to remove a severe disfigurement. In such a case, filing teeth is permissible.
