Is it obligatory for someone who has committed fornication with a girl and deflowered her to marry her after his repentance, or is sincere repentance sufficient to erase the sin?

The fornicator must repent to Allah, frequently seek forgiveness, feel remorse, and increase good deeds, for fornication is one of the gravest sins, but sincere repentance erases sins. The fornicator is not obligated to marry the person with whom they committed fornication, nor is that a condition for repentance. However, if they wish to marry after repentance, there is no harm in it. Your relative should consider the condition of the girl and her family. If he finds her suitable and knows that she has repented and become righteous, he should seek Allah’s guidance and marry her. In this, there is kindness and protection for her, and he will be rewarded for it, especially since he was her partner in the sin. A woman who has repented from fornication is not required to inform a suitor about her virginity; rather, she is commanded to conceal it.
