What is the amount of zakat on silver that must be paid on 2536.5 grams, and is it permissible to pay it outside of Ramadan?

The time when Zakat becomes obligatory is at the end of the hawl (one lunar year) on the possession of wealth. So, if Ramadan is when the hawl for the wealth is completed, Zakat must be paid during it, because it does not become void by delay. The nisab (minimum threshold) for silver is two hundred شرعي dirhams (595 grams), and one-quarter of one-tenth (2.5%) must be given, which is 63.4125 grams. It is permissible to give its value in cash. As for jewelry, there is a difference of opinion regarding its Zakat.
