Is it permissible for a wife to take out an interest-bearing loan to buy a house in a Muslim country, with the aim of returning from Germany and protecting herself and her children from temptations, given the absence of an alternative to this loan?

It is permissible for a Muslim to reside in a land of disbelief if there is a compelling need or a predominant benefit, provided that they are secure in their religion, their morals, and those under their care. However, if the environment is corrupt, then departure from it is imperative, whether to a land of Islam or to a safe place within it. It is not permissible for a husband to house his wife in a place that exposes her to harm in her religion and morals. Indeed, Sheikh Al-Islam stated that a husband does not have the right to house his wife wherever he wishes, but rather in a dwelling suitable for her, and he should not take her to places of corruption. Residing in a corrupt environment is not permissible, and it is not permissible to house one's wife and children in a place where they are not safe from temptation. Borrowing with interest is forbidden except in cases of necessity or a need that is tantamount to necessity. Therefore, if it is possible to rent a house, it is not permissible to borrow with interest. However, if you are unable to rent, then there is no objection to borrowing to purchase a home for dwelling, as housing is considered a necessity.
