What is the appropriate course of action toward an employer who exploits employees' needs and gives inadequate pay for the effort exerted, especially after an external work assignment that included long and arduous working hours without sufficient pay or travel allowances being calculated? And is it permissible for an employee to extend their working hours without the employer's knowledge to compensate for their pay?

"The contract is the law between the contracting parties unless it violates the Quran and Sunnah, and its details must be known to prevent disputes. If the employer violates regulations and assigns the worker additional work without pay, this is a major sin. The worker may take his right by staying a little extra time beyond his departure time without the employer's knowledge, provided he does not exceed his right and is secure from the consequences of his action. The worker may also refuse any future extra work unless compensated, and if the employer refuses, he should seek another job."
