What is the ruling and preference regarding a man who performs acts of obedience out of love for Allah and seeking His pleasure, compared to one who performs them to enter Paradise and escape Hellfire? And whose faith is greater than the other's? And what is the ruling concerning the prayer of greeting the mosque (Tahiyat al-Masjid) for someone who prayed the Sunnah of Fajr at home and then found that the congregational prayer had not yet begun in the mosque?

The prophets and the most honored of saints worshipped God and obeyed Him out of desire for His reward and fear of His punishment, as stated in the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us with hope and fear, and they used to humble themselves before Us," and His saying: "Their sides forsake their beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration." This is perfection and the correct methodology. The most honored people with Allah are the most pious among them, and the most believing among them are the most obedient to Allah. And part of piety is to hasten towards forgiveness and Paradise.
