The answer

Adultery, which involves the insertion of the glans into the vagina, is one of the most heinous sins and major transgressions. Allah Almighty has forbidden even approaching it. No matter how great the sin, Allah accepts repentance; in fact, He rejoices in it and transforms evil deeds into good ones, as Allah Almighty says: "And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons sins, and He knows what you do." Repentance involves abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, alongside striving in good deeds. It is a mistake for someone to abandon prayer under the pretext of shyness, for abandoning obligatory prayer is a greater sin than adultery. One must seek refuge with Allah from Satan, hasten to repent and return to Allah, make up for missed prayers, observe them at their appointed times, and strive in supererogatory prayers. Prayer is the key to all good and assists in repentance and uprightness.
